Day 01 Beijing Arrival: (D)
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing: (B/D)
A morning tour of Tian''''anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City; the complex of imperial palaces are home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures.
After lunch you will have free time for shopping at Silk Factory, and then you will be driven to visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family, and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming.
Day 03 Beijing: (B/D)
A full day excursion by private coach to the Great Wall - Juyongguan Section-the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor.
After lunch, free time for shopping at Jade Factory. Then make a drive to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperor''''s mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history- Chang Tomb.
Day 04 Beijing/Shanghai: (B/D)
Your sightseeing this morning is the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining in China today.
Lunch will on your own, then take a two-hour flight to Shanghai.
Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the well-located hotel for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis.
Day 05 Shanghai: (B/D)
Today you will take a private tour to visit the Jade Buddha Temple-where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty.
In the afternoon, it will be free time for shopping at Shanghai Old Town God’s Temple.
Day 06 Shanghai: (B/D)
Today you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in
People''''s Square; it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy.
And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-the Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.
In the afternoon, you will go to visit Nanjing Road, which is Shanghai''''s main shopping street, famously named one of the World''''s Seven Great Roads in the 1930s and now making a rapid comeback after decades of Maoist austerity.
Day 07 Shanghai Departure: (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your homeward flight. End of service.
